Yucca

Yucca is a genus of plants native to North and Central America. The plants have thick, leathery leaves with a sharp point and can form large bushes. The panicle-shaped inflorescence has white flowers. In America, the Yucca can be found in sandy regions, such as in dunes. In the Netherlands and Belgium, this plant is increasingly becoming common in these habitats as well. Presumably, Yucca enters the dunes through the dumping of garden waste.
